Trading on Jua Predictions means buying YES or NO shares in a market you have a view on. You can trade instantly at the current house price, or set your own price using the limit order book and wait for a match. Both paths are available from the same market page — here’s exactly how each one works.

Placing a House (Market) Order

The house engine is an automated market maker that always has liquidity. Use it when you want your trade to execute immediately at the current price.
1

Open the market

Navigate to the market you want to trade. You can find it via category browsing, keyword search, or the featured/trending sections on the home page.
2

Select YES or NO

On the trading panel, click either the YES or NO button to choose the outcome you want to back. The current house price for that side is displayed next to each button.
3

Enter the amount (USDC)

Type the amount of USDC you want to spend. The panel will show you how many shares you will receive at the current price, updating in real time as the price moves with demand.
4

Review the price and fee summary

Before confirming, check the order summary panel. It shows your per-share price, the total number of shares, the platform fee, and the net USDC amount that will be deducted from your balance.
5

Confirm the trade

Click Confirm Trade. Your order executes instantly and the shares appear in your portfolio. The USDC cost (including fee) is deducted from your cash balance immediately.

Placing a CLOB Limit Order

The central limit order book (CLOB) lets you specify the exact price you’re willing to pay. Your order will only fill when another trader is willing to take the other side at your price.
1

Switch to the Limit tab

On the trading panel, select the Limit tab. This switches you from the house engine to the CLOB engine for this order.
2

Select YES or NO

Click YES or NO to choose the outcome you want to back. The current best bid and ask prices from the order book are shown as reference points.
3

Set your desired price

Enter the price per share you’re willing to pay, expressed in USDC between 0 and 1. A price of 0.65 means you’re willing to pay 65 cents per share, implying a 65% probability of the outcome occurring.
4

Enter the number of shares

Type the number of shares you want to buy. The panel will calculate the total USDC that will be locked from your balance to cover the order, plus any applicable fee on fill.
5

Confirm — your order enters the order book

Click Place Order. Your limit order is submitted and appears in the order book immediately. The required USDC is locked from your balance until the order is filled or cancelled.

Managing Open Orders

You can view and manage all your pending limit orders from the My Orders section of your account, or directly on the market page under the order book.
  • View pending orders — Each open limit order shows the market, side (YES/NO), price, total shares, and how many shares have been filled so far.
  • Check partial fills — If part of your order has been matched, the filled quantity is shown alongside the remaining open quantity. Shares from partially filled portions are credited to your portfolio immediately.
  • Cancel an order — Click Cancel next to any open order. Cancellation takes effect immediately and the unfilled portion’s locked USDC is returned to your available cash balance.
Cancelling a limit order releases the funds locked for the unfilled portion of the order. Any shares already acquired through partial fills remain in your portfolio — those fills cannot be reversed.
You can have multiple limit orders open at the same time, across the same market or different markets. Each open order locks only the funds required to cover its own unfilled quantity.
