This guide walks you through everything you need to go from zero to your first active position on Jua Predictions. The entire process takes just a few minutes, and you can start exploring markets immediately after signing up.
New accounts receive a starter promotional balance so you can explore the platform before making a deposit. Promo funds can be used to place trades but cannot be withdrawn — only winnings converted to your cash balance are eligible for withdrawal.
1

Create Your Account

Go to juapredictions.com and click Sign In. You’ll be guided through the sign-up flow — register with your email address or a supported social provider. Once you complete sign-up, your Jua Predictions profile is created automatically. You don’t need to fill in any additional forms to start trading.
2

Fund Your Balance

Navigate to the Wallet section from your account menu. Choose your preferred deposit method:
  • M-Pesa — Enter your M-Pesa registered phone number and the amount in KES. Confirm the push notification on your phone to complete the deposit.
  • Polygon USDC — Copy your unique deposit address and send USDC on the Polygon network to fund your account.
Your balance updates as soon as the deposit is confirmed. Deposited funds appear in your cash balance and are immediately available to trade.
3

Browse Markets

Head to the Markets page to see all open prediction markets. Each market card shows the question, current YES/NO prices, trading volume, and resolution date. Use the category filters and status tabs to narrow the listing to topics you follow. Click any market to open its detail page and read the full resolution criteria before you trade.
4

Place Your First Trade

On the market detail page, decide whether you believe the outcome will be YES or NO. Select your outcome, enter the number of shares you want to buy, and review the order summary — including the total cost and your potential payout. When you’re ready, click Confirm Order to submit. Your shares appear in your portfolio immediately.
5

Track Your Portfolio

Visit the Portfolio page to monitor all your activity in one place. See your open positions, pending limit orders, and your full payout history for resolved markets. When a market you’ve traded resolves, winning payouts are credited to your cash balance automatically.
Not sure whether to use the House engine or the CLOB for your order? The House engine fills instantly at the current automated price — great when you want to trade quickly. The CLOB lets you set a limit price and wait for another trader to match you — useful when you want a better entry. See the Order Types guide for a full comparison.
