Jua Predictions supports multiple ways to move money onto and off the platform, but all trading activity is settled in a single currency: USDC. Understanding the distinction between the trading currency, display currency, and deposit methods will help you avoid confusion — and, critically, prevent irreversible loss of funds.

Trading Currency: USDC

All activity on Jua Predictions is denominated in USDC (USD Coin), a regulated stablecoin pegged 1:1 to the US dollar. Every share price, balance, fee, payout, and withdrawal amount is expressed in USDC. When you deposit via M-Pesa or crypto, your funds are converted to or transferred as USDC before they appear in your balance.
USDC is a stablecoin, meaning its value is designed to remain stable at approximately 1 US dollar. You will not experience exchange-rate fluctuation between your USDC balance and the US dollar.

Display Currency: KES

For the convenience of M-Pesa users, the platform may display KES (Kenyan Shilling) amounts alongside USDC values as a reference conversion. KES is a display-only currency — your actual ledger balance is always held and settled in USDC. The KES figure is a real-time conversion provided for context and does not affect your account balance directly.
KES amounts shown on the platform are for reference only. All transactions, payouts, and fees are calculated in USDC.

Crypto Network: Polygon

For crypto deposits and withdrawals, Jua Predictions supports USDC on the Polygon network only. No other token and no other network is accepted.
Sending any token other than USDC, or sending USDC using any network other than Polygon, will result in permanent, unrecoverable loss of funds. Always double-check that you have selected the Polygon network before confirming any transaction. The platform cannot reverse cross-chain or wrong-token transfers.

Conversion Rates

When you deposit or withdraw via M-Pesa, your KES amount is automatically converted to or from USDC at the current operator-configured exchange rate. The exact rate is displayed to you at the time of the transaction, before you confirm. No conversion is applied to crypto deposits or withdrawals — those are always in USDC at a 1:1 transfer.
